🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1949, at the U.S. Naval Air Station in St. Louis, Missouri, an unusual aerial phenomenon was reported. A military officer, while walking toward the main gate, observed a ball of fire moving horizontally across the sky, an unusual behavior for a meteor. The object emitted sparks and suddenly disappeared. Other sightings confirmed the object was traveling at high speed, without visible lights or identification, leaving a lasting impression on witnesses. Although initially classified as a meteor, the event remains intriguing.
