Unidentified Objects in Formation over Southern Oregon

An experienced pilot observed between 5 and 8 unidentified objects flying in formation over Southern Oregon in 1949. The objects were described as elongated ovals, appeared to be made of unpainted metal, and maintained a consistent distance from each other.
