Summary

A radio engineer in the army reported a flying object in Ohio in 1949. On June 29, near Osborn, he observed an object moving quickly without making noise. It was estimated to be larger than an F-80 and had an aluminum appearance. The object maintained level flight and disappeared into the clouds. Investigators found no conventional explanations, such as experimental aircraft, in the area at the same time.
