🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1947, a witness in Boise, Idaho, observed an object in the sky that appeared to have a cloud-like illuminated effect. The official investigation concluded that the phenomenon could be explained as an optical effect caused by clouds and the position of the sun. Although the report mentions the possibility of a weather balloon, no physical evidence or photographs were found to support the sighting. The case was filed without resolution, but it remains a classic example of how natural phenomena can be mistaken for unidentified flying objects.
