🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, a group of civilians observed between 50 and 60 shiny, fast-moving objects in the sky. The witnesses described them as small, bright like aluminum, and traveling at a speed faster than any known aircraft. Most moved in straight lines, though some zigzagged. Despite favorable weather conditions, no photos were taken and no sounds were heard. Initially, witnesses thought it was a meteor shower, but later investigations did not confirm this.
Military and scientific experts reviewed the case, including meteorite specialists, but no conventional explanation was found. The lack of concrete evidence and the inability to identify the objects led to the consideration of unconventional possibilities. The report highlights the need for better documentation of such sightings for future research.
