🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1949, an army officer at Fort Bliss, Texas, observed an unidentified object passing through a firing range. The report describes the object as white, elongated, and moving at high speed without making noise. Two officers saw it for 30 to 50 seconds, noting its west-to-east trajectory. Although other explanations like aircraft or test devices were considered, no such activity was recorded in the area. The report, classified and declassified decades later, includes sketches and a detailed narrative from the witnesses.
