🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1949, a witness on Tigvariak Island, Alaska, reported a continuous high-pitched whistling sound, similar to a high-velocity projectile. Moments later, he spotted six dark objects moving rapidly in a southwest direction. The report classified the event as "aircraft," but the witness insisted it was not a jet or a known sound. The objects vanished within a minute or two, with no physical evidence or photos.
Three nights later, the same witness and a geodetic surveyor heard the same sound but couldn’t see the objects. The confusion continued, as the sounds didn’t match anything conventional and the witnesses were certain they weren’t jet planes. Despite the investigation, the case remained unexplained.
