In July 1949, several soldiers at the Fairfield-Suisun Air Base in California reported observing unidentified flying objects. Six witnesses, including soldiers and officers, saw between 1 and 2 round, dull white or silver objects moving at high speed eastward. The objects did not emit noise, smoke, or trails, causing confusion. A C-82 in the area was used as a reference, but the exact size of the objects could not be determined. The observation lasted between 4 and 5 seconds, and witnesses agreed the objects disappeared quickly. The report, part of Project Grudge, concluded no physical evidence or conventional explanations were found.
