🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1949, at the Los Alamos Laboratory in New Mexico, several sightings of unidentified flying objects were recorded. An army officer and other witnesses reported a round object, yellow to green in color, moving at high speed. It was observed for one second, dropping vertically from an altitude of 35 degrees above the horizon. Other reports mention green and blue lights, some behaving like meteors. Despite the brief observations, witnesses agree that no sound, smoke, or vapor was heard or seen. These events, though inconclusive, generated interest among military and scientific authorities at the time.
