🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1950, a witness in Brooklyn observed an unidentified object at an altitude of 350 feet, emitting a bright blue glow for 30 seconds. The object remained stationary in the clouds for three minutes, without movement or sound. Although the sighting was recorded, it was considered to lack sufficient data for a conclusive assessment.
The report, sent to the Air Provost Marshal, included a letter from the witness, who offered to continue observing similar phenomena. The sighting location was estimated near latitude 40°-41'N and longitude 73°-58'W, and the testimony was classified as a ground observation. Despite the detailed description, the absence of photographs or sketches limited the analysis capability.
