🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1950, eight U.S. Air Force officers reported observing an unidentified flying object near Denver, Colorado. The pilots, flying T-6 and C-47 aircraft, described a luminous, cylindrical object with a reddish-white color moving at high speed along a straight trajectory. Despite multiple simultaneous sightings, no one could identify the object, and it was not detected by radar. The testimonies consistently mention the direction, altitude, and duration of the phenomenon, adding credibility to the accounts. The official investigation concluded there was no evidence of non-natural activity, but the details remain of interest to UFO researchers.
The report notes that the pilots did not observe lights or distinctive features of the object, making identification difficult. Some compared it to a meteor or a shooting star, but its behavior did not match known natural phenomena. The absence of radar records and the coincidence of multiple sightings from different aerial positions reinforce the idea that this was an unusual event. Although the Air Force closed the case, this document remains a valuable record of one of the earliest official UFO investigations in the United States.
