Summary

In March 1950, multiple witnesses in Little Silver, New Jersey reported an unusual aerial phenomenon. Three objects with white vapor trails were observed in the sky on the afternoon of March 15. Descriptions varied from luminous forms surrounded by sky-blue gas to bright objects reflecting sunlight. Initially thought to be airplanes or skywriting, witnesses agreed that no noise was heard and the objects moved at high altitude. One witness, a mechanical engineer, estimated their speed at around 600 miles per hour. The reports were submitted to the army and analyzed as part of a broader investigation into unconventional aircraft.
