🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1950, a witness in Long Island observed an object initially resembling a contrail in the sky. As it approached, the object displayed a distinctive shape, described as a tennis ball, and then as two plates facing each other. The witness, knowledgeable in aircraft identification, stated it was not a conventional jet, propeller plane, balloon, or parachute. The object descended slowly and remained visible for about 10 minutes, drawing attention due to its unusual behavior. The testimony was directly sent to the authorities of Project Saucer, without public disclosure.
