🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1950, a witness in Vermont described an object shaped like a DC-3 aircraft, white with black outlines, moving at around 300 miles per hour at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Although no photos or sketches were obtained, the report concluded it was possible the object was an aircraft. The witness, who had aviation experience, did not disclose details about their training or field of work.
The information comes from multiple sightings recorded by the Glens Falls Flight Service, which found no modified aircraft or unidentified planes in the area at that time. The official report, dated April 1950, was approved by the intelligence officer in charge of Project 10073.
