🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1950, a mysterious object was observed in Hibbing, Minnesota. Two civilians reported seeing an object shaped like a 55-gallon oil drum with a tail. The object glowed green and blue, descending in a straight line at a 45-degree angle for about 4 seconds. The detailed description and the credibility of the witnesses made the report significant. There were no signs of smoke, noise, or visible propulsion mechanisms, raising more questions than answers.
The object was seen by a foot specialist and his wife, who were considered reliable observers. The witness was also a former Air Force pilot, adding weight to his testimony. Although no clouds or other atmospheric phenomena were recorded, the object did not approach aircraft or other celestial bodies. The unusual shape and controlled movement of the object remain an unsolved mystery.
