Circular UFO seen in Delano in 1950

Summary

In April 1950, a circular object measuring 25 feet in diameter was observed in Delano, California. Several witnesses, including a teenager and his parents, reported seeing the object move erratically, spinning and changing direction. It remained visible from 9:00 PM to 10:50 PM, at an altitude of about 200 feet. Although no data on color or speed was recorded, the testimony describes chaotic and repetitive movement. The report, sent to the ATIC, includes a weather report confirming favorable observation conditions. This case is one of the earliest official UFO sightings in the United States.
