🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1950, multiple witnesses in North Carolina reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. One was described as white, moving quickly at low altitude, observed in Woodland. A second object, brilliantly red, was seen at high altitude, maintaining a steady course of 360°, which raised attention due to its unusual behavior. Although the exact observation time wasn't recorded, the testimonies agree that it was a single object in each case, seen from the ground. These reports, though brief, are interesting for their precise description and clear location.
The characteristics of the objects, such as their size (approximately 18 feet long) and their unchanging trajectory, suggest they were not conventional aircraft or natural phenomena. The lack of additional details, such as maneuvers or identification, adds mystery to the reports. Despite the documents being old and containing OCR errors, they are valuable for understanding how sightings were recorded in the 1950s. These cases, though isolated, are part of a broader history of investigations into unexplained aerial phenomena.
