🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1950, a Northrop Aircraft pilot submitted a report about an unidentified object observed near Memphis, Texas. The pilot, accompanied by two qualified observers, described a silvery object with an orange glow around its perimeter. According to the report, the object was seen for approximately 20 minutes, maintaining a slow movement without visible propulsion. The observers ruled out the possibility of it being an airplane, balloon, or celestial body, generating interest in its unknown nature.
The report was classified as confidential and sent to the Air Materiel Command for evaluation. The description of the object included details such as its spherical shape with protrusions and a shadow that occasionally moved. Despite identification attempts, its origin remained undetermined. This case, like many others, adds another piece to the mystery of UFO sightings in history.
