🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1950, two employees at Red River Arsenal in Texarkana, Texas, observed an unidentified object that initially appeared like a bright, shiny dish. The report describes a flat-top and round object, roughly 18 inches wide and 5 inches deep, seen at a distance of about 15 feet. The object was moving north to south in a straight and fast flight, without any visible trails or maneuvers. The observers, who were in a government truck, noted that the object reflected sunlight brightly and even dimmed briefly when passing through a low cloud.
Although the report could not identify the object, it considered the possibility of a glass reflection or a nearby object. However, the observers, described as intelligent and trustworthy, insisted there was no sound, trail, or visible structure. The report was classified as confidential and later declassified, but the mystery remains unsolved.
