🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1950, a couple in Savannah, Georgia, observed an unidentified aerial object for nearly half an hour. The object was described as a colorless sphere of light moving erratically. Witnesses reported the phenomenon rapidly shifting both vertically and horizontally over the city and Chatham Air Force Base. The U.S. Air Force investigated the case without finding conventional explanations like weather balloons. Despite the absence of records of balloon launches in the area, the official report concluded without resolving the mystery.
The report, classified and later declassified, includes details about the sighting and a weather evaluation. Although conventional explanations were ruled out, no supernatural activity or identification was recorded. The case was filed without a definitive conclusion, but remains an example of many unresolved sightings from the era.
