🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1950, a civilian in Guam reported seeing a circular object approximately 600 to 1000 feet wide, hovering about 300 feet above the water. According to the report, the object had portholes emitting blue gas. However, authorities concluded there was no evidence of an unidentified object, as no sightings were recorded by radar or other means. It was suggested the object could have been a rare cloud formation or a product of overactive imagination.
Years later, in 1958, the same witness, David Hughes Bennett, contacted the FBI and the Air Force, insisting on his account. Bennett claimed the object followed him and had electrically "shocked" him multiple times. Authorities deemed him an unreliable source, possibly seeking publicity or suffering from delusions. The case was closed without conclusive findings.
