In November 1950, a group of railroad workers in San Francisco observed a bright, round object directly overhead for 20 to 30 minutes. Described as white, the size of a silver dollar, and silent, the object showed no aerodynamic features or propulsion. Despite multiple witnesses, the Air Force did not pursue an investigation.
