🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1950, a classified U.S. Army report documented a UFO sighting in Jonesville, Louisiana. A man and his son, residents of New Orleans, observed a bright and mysterious object in the sky. The object, described as extremely luminous with a bluish glow, had no discernible shape or size. According to the report, the object ascended toward the northwest and left behind two exhaust trails that did not remain parallel, similar to jet planes but with notable differences. The witnesses, familiar with the appearance of conventional aircraft, expressed surprise at the noiseless and unusual nature of the object.
The report concluded that there was insufficient data for a definitive evaluation, but highlighted the consistency of the descriptions and the absence of meteorological conditions that could explain the phenomenon. Additionally, other testimonies from the region were mentioned, including one from a family that saw similar objects spinning and disappearing quickly. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the case remains a mystery that adds pieces to the puzzle of UFO sightings in the 1950s.
