🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1951 report describes a luminous object seen by multiple witnesses in Marietta, Georgia. A red, green, blue, and white light resembling the star Sirius was observed. Observers included radar operators and military personnel, who attempted to detect it without success. The estimated altitude was between 1,000 and 2,000 feet, and it remained stationary or moved slowly. Although a balloon or astronomical phenomenon was considered, no clear conclusion was reached.
The report also mentions a Navy officer who sighted a white object around 21:15, which arrived at the base at 22:00. Lack of radar confirmation and ground interference made identification difficult. Despite efforts, the object remained unexplained. The document was classified and sent to various military units for analysis, but no definitive resolution was achieved.
