🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1951, an object was detected in the Far East using ground radar. The sighting lasted nine minutes and the object performed controlled maneuvers, suggesting a deliberate flight path. Although initially considered a balloon or astronomical phenomenon, the data pointed to an aircraft. The Far East Air Force (FEAF) evaluated the information and concluded it was a Soviet plane, ruling out the possibility of an unexplained phenomenon.
The report included no photographs or direct visual testimony, only radar data. This limited the possibility of a more detailed evaluation. However, the official assessment was clear: it was not considered a UFO, but rather conventional air activity. The case was not filed as such, but the collected information was enough to classify it as an aircraft, likely Soviet, on a routine mission.
