Summary

A U.S. Air Force crew reported a half-moon shaped object, the size of a 25-cent piece, while flying at 20,000 feet above Biggs AFB, Texas. The object was moving from south to west and was visually observed from the aircraft. Although no photos were taken and the observation duration was not reported, the sighting was received via an Air Force wire. Investigators concluded it could be an astronomical object, likely Venus, but no formal case was opened for further study.
