🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1951, a cigar-shaped object was observed by about 25 witnesses in New Delhi, India. The object, described as metallic and without visible control surfaces, performed a loop maneuver before disappearing toward the southwest. Witnesses, including aeronautical engineers and airport staff, gave consistent accounts. The object made no sound and had erratic speed, estimated to reach up to 2000 mph. Despite the presence of experts, the object could not be identified and was classified as unexplained.
The official report included detailed testimonies and technical observations, but no conventional explanation was found. The description of the object, along with its unusual behavior, generated interest among air authorities at the time. Although possibilities like balloons or aircraft were considered, they were ruled out due to unusual characteristics. The case remains one of the most intriguing UFO reports in Indian history.
