🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1951, an officer and two enlisted men from the U.S. Army Security Agency observed an unidentified object near St Lawrence Island, Alaska. The object, traveling at high speed and without visible markings, was seen for two to three minutes and performed maneuvers consistent with an aircraft. Although no sound or contrails were detected, its silhouette resembled aircraft such as the F-80 or F-86. The observers ruled out known models and considered it possibly a Soviet aircraft. The local radar was out of service and did not detect the event. No other reports of this incident were recorded in the area.
