🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, a witness in Texas observed a large round object moving up and down. The observer could not determine the distance or height of the object, nor the exact duration of the sighting, which was described as brief. The object reflected sunlight and disappeared quickly, appearing from the east. Although the report suggests several possibilities, such as a balloon, an aircraft, or a radar device, no definitive conclusion was reached due to lack of concrete data.
Analysts considered it could be a balloon, but also left open the possibility of an aircraft or radar device. However, due to the lack of reliable information, it could not be evaluated with certainty. The report, though incomplete, shows how even in the 1950s, unexplained aerial sightings remained difficult to classify.
