🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1951, two Capital Airlines pilots spotted a glowing object with a tail near Milwaukee. The first described it as an orange fireball with a blue tail 200 feet long. The second pilot, 75 miles away, saw a long, tapered blue exhaust flame, likened to an ice cream cone. Both agreed it made no sound and moved at high speed, though not like a meteor. Initially classified as a meteor, the detailed description and multiple witnesses raised questions. No aircraft activity or astronomical observations were recorded at the time.
