🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1951, a Capital Air Lines pilot reported a strange object following his aircraft near Andrews AFB. The object, moving slowly and carrying a bright light, was initially mistaken for a star. The air traffic controller noted the object appearing and disappearing, and it couldn't be picked up on radar. A plane was sent to investigate but found nothing. Eventually, it was suggested the object could have been Venus, but the pilot insisted it passed under the star. The lack of clear evidence left the case unresolved.
