🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
On December 7, 1951, farmer Carl Loar from Ohio witnessed an unusual aerial phenomenon. Through his telescope, he saw a shiny, silvery sphere moving at high speed and altitude. Loar noted that the object initially appeared as a faint speck in the north, moved overhead, and then traveled westward, disappearing behind a cloud. According to his account, the object split into luminous particles and then "exploded" without a flash, creating more points of light. Loar tried to contact an observatory but found no one available. The observation lasted 30 minutes and was reported by a local newspaper.
Although no investigation was conducted, Loar's sighting was considered by various possibilities, including balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena. However, the farmer insisted it was none of these. His experience was published in magazines like True Magazine, highlighting his detailed description and the inability to explain the event with conventional means. The case remains an unsolved mystery.
