🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1952, a ground control team at Keflavik, Iceland, detected multiple unidentified objects on their radar for over an hour. The first records appeared at 07:12, with objects moving at surprisingly high speeds, even surpassing the known speeds of F-86 aircraft. Despite a C-47 being directed to intercept them, poor weather conditions prevented any visual sighting. The objects appeared and disappeared at regular intervals, maintaining precise routes and unusual speeds. The involved officers, including Captain Frank Schreiber and Sergeant J. W. Kelly, carefully documented the data, though they could not identify the nature of the objects. The final evaluation considered the possibility of Soviet aircraft, but no definitive conclusion was reached.
