🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, three Air Force pilots reported a luminous phenomenon over Bryan, Texas. They described a fireball about one-third the size of the full moon, with two small tails that appeared to detach. The sighting lasted between 5 and 15 seconds and was visually observed from the ground. Although several explanations were initially considered, such as balloons, aircraft, or astronomical events, the most likely conclusion pointed to a meteor. However, the lack of precise data left open the possibility that it was an unidentified object.
