🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, multiple witnesses in Waco, Texas reported sightings of unidentified flying objects with an orange glow. A civilian radar technician observed a rectangular object with a tail, while others at drive-in theaters saw groups of 15 to 30 objects resembling ducks. Although birds were considered a likely explanation, the detailed descriptions and absence of noise or exhaust raised questions. Weather conditions were clear and ideal, with no unusual phenomena reported.
Military authorities reviewed the reports and concluded it was probably birds, but other possibilities were not ruled out. Witnesses agreed on the time and direction of the sightings, adding credibility to the accounts. Despite the lack of physical evidence, official records carefully documented every detail, including coordinates and multiple testimonies.
