🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
An Air Force officer observed three unidentified objects over the Gulf of Mexico on April 13, 1952. The objects appeared as orange balls of light and moved in a straight line at high speed. The observer, on the ground, estimated the objects to be at about 10,000 feet and noted no exhaust trail or sound. Despite the brief observation, lasting 4 to 5 seconds, the officer highlighted the unusual maneuverability and speed of the objects. The official evaluation concluded it was probably a balloon, though other explanations like astronomical objects or conventional aircraft were not ruled out. The report reflects the typical uncertainty of UFO sightings from that era, where a lack of concrete data made a definitive classification difficult.
