In April 1952, a witness in Vallejo, California, observed two disc-shaped objects with a light orange color. The observer, a school official and amateur astronomer, described how the objects moved in a straight line at high speed, remaining parallel throughout. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds, and the objects suddenly disappeared after gradually dimming. Although the report considered the astronomical possibility, no definitive conclusion was reached. The detailed testimony suggested they were not meteors or conventional objects.
On the same day, a separate report mentioned a sighting near Bethesda, where 8 to 12 glowing objects were seen in a wide V formation. Although B-45 aircraft were proposed as a possible explanation, it was not confirmed. These events, while distinct, reflect the confusion and mystery surrounding sightings in 1952.
