🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, a witness in Sault St. Marie, Michigan, observed a pink, circular object hovering in the sky. The report suggests it might have been a weather balloon, as the pink color is typical of such balloons reflecting oblique sunlight. The object was seen for about 60 seconds at an estimated altitude of 5,000 to 8,000 feet. Although there were no other witnesses, the weather was clear and the temperature around 50 degrees. The report concludes that the object was likely not supernatural or extraterrestrial, but an atmospheric phenomenon or a balloon.
