🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, a housekeeper in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, observed a bright aerial object with a yellowish-gold color. The witness, a building janitor, saw the object heading north before making a 135-degree turn and disappearing. It was estimated to be three to four inches in diameter, moving at 500 mph at an altitude of around 2000 feet. Although several explanations were considered, such as a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon, no definitive conclusion was reached. The report, classified for decades, was finally declassified in 2002.
