Summary

In April 1952, a commercial pilot reported observing between seven and ten luminous objects that appeared to follow an aircraft landing at McClellan AFB in California. The sighting occurred at 21:33 local time on April 20 and lasted between three and five seconds. The objects made no sound and left no exhaust trail, moving at an altitude of less than 1,000 feet. Although officially recorded, no clear conclusion was reached about the nature of the objects, as the data was deemed insufficient to determine if they were balloons, aircraft, or astronomical phenomena.

The report, classified under Project 10073, was evaluated as "insufficient for a conclusion" and no hypothesis was ruled out. Such reports were common at the time, with air bases and military installations on high alert for any unidentified phenomena. Although considered an unresolved case today, the testimony of a professional pilot adds weight to the observation, highlighting the importance of these historical records for UFO research.
