🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, two civilians in Walla Walla, Washington, reported seeing eight disc-shaped objects at high altitude. The witnesses described the objects as bright white, similar to daylight, and moving in straight lines at approximately 500 mph. No sound or exhaust trail was reported, adding to the mystery. The McChord Air Force Base logged the sighting, but officials could not determine the origin of the objects.
The weather at the time was clear with 40 miles of visibility and light winds. Despite a detailed account, no photographs or sketches were available to support the testimony. The Air Force concluded that there was insufficient data to evaluate the case, leaving open the possibility of an unknown phenomenon or unidentified object. This case adds to the list of mysterious sightings from the era.
