🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, a civilian in Dayton, Ohio, reported an object in the sky that remained visible for 45 minutes. The object was described as a bright red spot that turned to a hazy blue and hovered in place. Initially considered a balloon, investigators also explored other possibilities such as astronomical phenomena or an aircraft. The lack of precise data on speed, altitude, and direction made it difficult to reach a definitive conclusion. The report was forwarded to the Air Materiel Command for evaluation.
