In April 1952, a witness in Marshall, Texas reported seeing a white, round object in the sky. The object was moving quickly along a straight and level path, but also appeared to oscillate sideways. The witness, a railway clerk and private pilot, described the object disappearing within less than two minutes. No photos were taken and there were no radar data, making identification difficult. Despite the clear description, authorities classified the case as "unknown".
