🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1952, a B-29 bomber reported a sighting of an unidentified flying object with a fan-like shape. The pilot described it as a pulsating white light moving rapidly at high speed. The incident occurred 15 miles north of Goodland, Kansas, while the aircraft was flying at 30,000 feet. The object showed no visible fuselage and disappeared after passing over the plane. The crew noted no sounds or radio interference.
The investigation found no natural explanations or air traffic in the area. Astronomers and air traffic controllers reported no unusual activity. Despite the observer's reliability, the report failed to identify the object. The description and speed of the phenomenon raised doubts about its conventional nature.
