In May 1952, a retired military technician in Wichita Falls, Texas, reported seeing a metallic disc-shaped object. The object, approximately 18 to 24 feet in diameter and about 7 feet thick at the center, was moving in an arc at around 4,000 feet altitude. The witness, with 20 years of military service, observed it for five seconds without seeing any exhaust or hearing noise. Weather conditions were clear with excellent visibility.
