Summary

In May 1952, a witness in Nashville, Tennessee, observed an unusual object in the sky. It was a dark disc moving slowly with a pendulum-like arc. The sighting lasted between 5 and 8 minutes, and the object remained at an undetermined altitude. Although balloon or astronomical explanations were considered, the object was ultimately classified as "unidentified." The official report left many questions unanswered about its nature.
