🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1952, a group of civilians in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, observed two unidentified flying objects. One remained stationary while the other moved rapidly, all seen through binoculars. The witnesses described the objects as spherical and bright orange. The observation lasted thirty minutes with no visible noise or exhaust. Despite the detailed description, investigators could not determine their nature.
The sighting occurred from a high cliff overlooking the ocean, making it difficult to estimate distance. Five people, including a local lawyer and an ex-Air Force pilot, confirmed the observation. Weather conditions were clear with high visibility. Although an attempt was made to photograph the objects, no clear image was obtained. The official investigation concluded there was no natural explanation for the phenomenon.
