🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1952, B-29 bomber crews reported seeing unidentified aerial objects during a night training mission. The objects were described as globe-shaped, greenish in color, and moving in unusual patterns. Sightings occurred near Albuquerque, Tulsa, and Enid at various altitudes. Each observation lasted less than a minute, and no photographs or physical evidence were obtained.
The witnesses compared the objects to a Very Flare but ruled out meteors. Despite multiple sightings across different locations and times, no known activity could explain the phenomenon. The official evaluation remained inconclusive, though a possible meteor shower was considered.
