🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1952, at Edwards AFB, California, a group of technical observers reported the presence of two disc-shaped objects with a metallic color. The objects left no vapor trail and produced no audible sound, generating confusion about their nature. They moved in a semicircular path from east to north and then to the southwest, disappearing quickly. Although some suggested they could be balloons or conventional aircraft, the observations did not agree on details such as viewing angles or speed.
The report evaluation considered the witnesses to be professionals with experience in engineering and aviation, increasing the credibility of the sighting. However, there was no physical evidence or confirmation of interception. The weather conditions were optimal, with 20 miles visibility, making conventional explanations difficult. The report concluded there was insufficient data to determine the nature of the objects, but highlighted the impossibility of identifying them as known phenomena.
