🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1952, an officer and a physicist observed an object in the sky from Tipp City, Ohio. They were using telescopes and saw a bright point moving slowly, similar to a second magnitude star. The object appeared near Spica and moved toward Delta Corvi, covering about 30 degrees in the sky. Despite the detailed observation, no sound was heard and the object was not clearly identified. Several possibilities were considered, including balloons, aircraft or astronomical phenomena, but the data was insufficient for a definitive conclusion.
